Annual Reunion Plymouth 2026

Former shipmates visit the Mayor of Kingston Upon Thames
On Wednesday 15th October 2025 former shipmates Paul Brett, Roy Crawford, and Steve Jay, representing HMS Naiad Association, attended the Guildhall in Kingston Upon Thames for a reception with the Mayor, Cllr Noel Hadjimichael FRSA.
The visit included a tour of the council chambers to view the ship's bell and to the Mayor's parlour to enjoy lunch and discuss the on-going relationship between HMS Naiad and it's affiliation with Kingston Upon Thames, the shared history and future engagement between both.
Paul, Roy and Steve presented a ship's plaque and two presentation plaques containing brass insignia from the ship which will be displayed at the Guildhall alongside existing memorabilia.
The Mayor was keen to invite any member of the association or former shipmates to attend the annual rememberance service at Kingston's war memorial this November and subsequent future events.
It was a great visit and we'd like to extend our thanks to the Mayor and his staff for inviting us along and for his efforts in reigniting the relationship between the Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames and HMS Naiad.

Annual Reunion
The 2025 York Reunion was well attended and included a boat trip on the River Ouse.
The next reunion will be held in September 2026 in Plymouth. Please see our Reunion page for more details.
Rugby
A few members made the trip to London to watch the annual Inter-Services rugby match between the Army and the Royal Navy at Twickenham on 2nd May 2026.
Malta
Tentative plans are afoot to organise a trip to Malta in November 2026 for the Remembrance Services.
